Your relocation to London is not just about paperwork, packing and paying bills. If you are moving to London you really need to get settled as fast as possible. Life is not all about moving to London, it’s about having a great time and experiencing life as a Local.

If you are planning a relocation and don’t want to face the hassle and stress of finding an apartment by yourself, then the best idea is to hand over all of your lists to one of the professional relocation services companies. They take the madness out of moving to London and the irritation out of any international relocation.

If you’re all settled in and have done the rounds of the London Eye, Tower Bridge and Tube, then why not spend this Saturday as a gorilla. Yes, really!

Locals, for the most part, have a great sense of civic responsibility and charity. If you want to get involved within your community or have a specific cause that you support then you will be sure to find a local chapter. Not only are you doing your bit for the world around you, but getting involved in charity work and volunteering after your relocation is a great way to meet people and make friends.

The Great Gorilla Runs is happening on Saturday 24 September 2011. It’s 1,000 people dressed up like gorillas for a 7km fun run through the city streets to raise awareness about the plight of the 720 remaining mountain gorillas in the wild. Not only will you get to go ape for a day but you’ll have the chance to really make a difference in the world. The route takes you past tourist attractions such as The Tate Modern and Tower Bridge, so if you haven’t yet had the chance to explore the city after your relocation, you may as well do it while dressed as a gorilla for a good cause.

Even if you don’t fancy the hilarity of a hairy gorilla suit after moving, you can enjoy the action from the sidelines and cheer the runners on as they indulge in a bit of British humor and support an excellent cause.
