Having moved countries several times before, the most stressful part is always finding somewhere to live. This was the first time we’d used a relocator and we couldn’t be happier with the team at London relocation. From my initial enquiry right up to our move in date Mat and the team were there for us every step of the way.

The best part of the process was that it didn’t feel like a business arrangement, it actually felt like you were dealing with friends. Would we go for beer with these guys? Definitely!

Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel met auto en chauffeur om in 1 dag 20 appartementen (van verschillende makelaarskantoren!) te bezichtigen.

Daarna krijg je uitgebreid hulp bij het doen van een bod, het opstellen van de contracten, het aanvragen een bankrekening, het aansluiten van telefoon/gas/water&licht en dat alles voor niet meer dan je bij andere makelaars zou betalen. We denken dat veruit de meeste mensen hun gewenste appartement binnen 1 dag bezichtigen kunnen vinden. En zelfs als dat niet het geval mocht zijn, dan krijg je een goed idee van hoe de markt werkt en wat je kunt krijgen voor je geld in London.

Mocht je dan alsnog iets vinden op internet, dan helpt Relocation je nog steeds met alles. Wat we vooral erg prettig van Relocation vonden is het razendsnelle en persoonlijk contact via SMS, email en telefoon. Je krijgt updates over waar ze mee bezig zijn, b. v. als ze een afspraak bij de bank regelen, bellen je ook zonder problemen internationaal en ze zijn zelfs buiten kantoortijden bereikbaar. We hebben ons droomappartement voor een prima prijs in hartje London gevonden, met dank aan Relocation.

London Relocation was professional to work with in an overseas move. They connected me with multiple movers so I benefited from choices. They listened carefully to my top priorities in housing; the day of our search, the properties absolutely reflected the substance of our conversations. Finally, they did a great job of educating me on the process and gave me the tools to make good decisions.

Will be my only comments to share how fantastic the service Kenneth provided us was! imagine moving from Paris to London in 36 hrs looking to relocate the family, with school, new job at the same time — a stressful time for any couple or family. Well, I have found a 5-star service. Not to under-estimate the results of Kenneth. It would not have been possible without Kenneth!

My partner and I are typical accountants. When we first started discussing using London Relocation vs. doing it on our own, we created a spreadsheet. We determined that for our budget, we would be better off using this agency after 18 days of renting short term accommodation. And this was going to be very basic accommodation. Not to mention the endless packing up and moving, tube and taxis costs and days and days of time… So we took the plunge.

In the lead up to getting to England I researched this relocation agency to death and to be honest, I was a little skeptical when I could find not one bad review online. It made me start to think that perhaps it was too good to be true. Since our day out though, I can honestly say I understand why everyone is so happy with the service. Their team were really helpful and from the outset and went through what we were looking for in a lot of detail. On the day we saw about 20 houses and would have been happy to rent about 1/3 (which is pretty good odds!) We ended up with our first choice and managed to move in 2 days after our initial viewing (and it would have been sooner but we had Good Friday to contend with!) They negotiated our lease agreement for us (including getting the weekly rent decreased considerably) and negotiating break clauses (both of these things I doubt we would have been game enough to try by ourselves). The written information they send through is invaluable and it’s how we managed to set up our power and water – strangely the real estate agent had no interest in dealing with us after we’d signed the lease, so thank god for London Relocation.

I highly recommend this relocation agency, they made moving to England so simple. We had definitely underestimated how important having a home base would be when we started looking for jobs and started settling into the UK life. These guys are worth their weight in gold!

Honestly, there is not a single negative word that can be said about London Relocation. I placed an inquiry online and in 20 minutes someone had already gotten back to me about my London apartment search, and within a week I had my viewing day set. On viewing day, despite the horrible traffic and weather we made it to well over 20 properties, and the Team was super helpful in finding some to meet my exact criteria (and most of them exceeded my expectations by a long shot).

As a family with two young children under the age of 3 and no clue as to how we were going to find a house for rent in England, we decided to hire London Relocation Services to help with our move from the US. Looking back on the experience, we are so impressed with the work that Mat and Ryan as well as the other relocation staff did for us. During a visit, they took me to see 19 places in one day and were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and efficient. We eventually got much more house than we thought due to their excellent negotiations with the landlord.

Nous sommes très contents d’avoir trouvé London Relocation sur internet. Nous les avons contactés et ils ont été très réactifs. Nous avons rapidement été rappelés par Mat et Ryan (notre accompagnateur), qui nous ont demandé nos critères pour la location (un 3 pièces avec 2 chambres). Nous nous sommes ensuite mis d’accord sur le jour de la visite. Le jour J, Ryan, notre accompagnateur, est venu nous chercher en voiture, avec chauffeur. La journée a été intense, nous avons visité 18 appartements, avec différentes agences immobilières, dans différents quartiers. C’est pratique de se déplacer en voiture car ça économise pas mal de temps.

Quelques appartements ne correspondaient pas à 100% à nos critères (budget), mais nous avons tout de même trouvé notre bonheur. A la fin de journée, nous avons choisi 4 appartements qui nous ont beaucoup plu, et nous avons pu réserver notre appartement le jour même! Tout au long de la journée de visite, Ryan nous a donné plein de conseils très utiles.

Il a établi une relation de confiance. Ryan sait ce dont les nouveaux arrivants à Londres ont besoin. Il nous a montré par exemple les différentes chaines de supermarchés, restaurants, et nous a conseillé pour le choix de l’appartement. Plusieurs informations supplémentaires nous ont également été fournies (n° à appeler pour les taxes, téléphone, électricité, gaz, …).

London Relocation a suivi notre dossier jusqu’à notre installation à Londres. Ils ont régulièrement demandé de nos nouvelles. Nous recommandons vivement les services de London Relocation à toute personne qui veut s’installer à Londres. I was planning on moving to London for the Olympics. Whether I would write down a thousand words or just a few it would all come down to the fact that London Relocation is your best bet if you are planning a move to London. They take you out on a tour of the properties which would match your criteria! They are the most helpful people as well, they did go the extra mile for me and I did find the flat I wanted in one day as they said I would, and they did deliver on the promise.

With hindsight I don’t even know why I didn’t go to them right away. In a word they are the Best.

We have recently moved from Copenhagen to London and had London Relocation helping us with the entire move. I have to say we were very pleased with all assistance provided from their end. Especially Ryan Jordan who was looking after finding us a new residence was more than helpful and went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. I was initially a bit apprehensive about using a re-location service, but a few moments Googling the complexities of finding houses to rent in London, I thought I need to make this someone else’s problem, and Mat Paramor LOVES problems. It was very easy to do, over e-mail Mat figured out my needs (based on cost, living requirements, space, dependents etc. ), and after a series of chats with me over the phone he figured out the right suburbs we should be looking at and why. But where the relocation team really come into their element is on “viewing day”. Mat painstakingly put together a list of 30 (yes 30!!!) houses to go through in one day, houses that matched my budget, preferences and in the area’s that best suited me (I’m still amazed how he figured that out). They arm you with a notebook, your camera phone and a pen, and with Mat acting like the Consiglieri from Godfather, you visit all the places on his list and whittle it down to your top 3-5.

I have to mention that this is no easy task, and your relocation guide will keep you completely on track and focused. He does most of the talking, leaving you to the important part, decision making! Once you make your decision, all you have to do is tell the team “I want this one”, and the rest they take care of, from low balling rent offers, to working on break clauses in contracts, helping you put through the payments and having you not have to deal with frustratingly immature and inept real estate agents, basically they take all your problems, leaving you to worry about how you are going to move all your stuff in. And here’s the best part, the service does not end there, I’ve been pestering Mat with a billion questions (which he’s going to hate me for mentioning here because it’s potentially going to open him up to a flooded inbox), question from “what exactly does furnished mean?”, “what size bed does the apartment have” etc, and without fail Mat comes through with a response time that would make the Queen’s Royal Guard pale at. So a big thanks to the relocation team, you guys have made this move a HEAP easier and I’m really glad you guys love problems. Very much appreciate it.

Så om du är på väg att flytta till London, och vill ha hjälp med har de allt du behöver och jag rekommenderar dem varmt. På kort tid hittade de ett perfekt boende åt mig, i det närmsta skräddarsytt enligt mina önskemål. För ja, så enkelt är det. Ge dem en lista på dina önskemål gällande storlek på boende, budget, område etc. och de kommer göra allt i sin makt för att tillgodo se dem. Jag har nu ett kontrakt på ett utmärkt boende bra läge i fö rhållande till min arbetsplats samt centrala London, och ett leende på läpparna. Allt tack var e deras insats.

Ä r du dessutom svensk och känner dig obekväm med att tala engelska så är det ett midre problem, då de har svensktalande personal. London är en fantastisk stad med all charm den besitter. Lika charmigt är det inte att ta sig an att öppna ett bank konto som nyanländ immigrant. Jag råder dig därför att även utnyttja deras tjänster för att öppna ett bank konto, om du nu är i behov av det, då det kan vara ett tidsförödande projekt på egen hand.

Vill slutligen bara påpeka att jag inte får betalt för att skriva det här. De är faktiskt såhär bra.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the relocation team for everything that you’ve done for me since I arrived in the UK. Not only did Ryan help me find a wonderful flat that fits my needs perfectly, he worked his magic and did so in the extremely short timeline I had to work with. I needed to relocate to London relatively quickly to start a new job and thanks to London Relocation Service I found an apartment on a 1-day trip to London. What was great from the outset was the quick turnaround time. Emails were usually replied to within 10 minutes!On the viewing day, Ryan collected me at 8:30 at arrivals in St Pancras and between 9am and 15:30 I saw 23 apartments. This was thanks to his excellent organisation prior to the viewing date which included calls and emails to me to find out about my budget and tastes. This ensured he arranged a suitable viewing schedule for my day in London. His time management on the day was impeccable and his chauffeur was reliable and invaluable for efficiently transporting us around London.

At the end of the viewings I had a short list of my favourite apartments and we went to the estate agents where Ryan started the negotiations. By the time I was getting back on the Eurostar for the last train back to Belgium Ryan informed me that my offer had been accepted. Over the next few days we finalised the contracts, payments and moving in date etc. While the cost of the service is substantial and there is a minimum fee, it’s definitely worth it. I would have had to take a week off work to arrange and see that many apartments and also remember that without a car you will be relying on public transport meaning a lot more hassle and less time to see apartments as London is so huge. Hotels and food costs will also be significant for a week in London remember.

Furthermore, if like me you had read all the stories about fraud on the internet and unscrupulous landlords when you go it alone, it was reassuring that LRS acted as a middleman for all discussions with the estate agents and crucially, for the payments too. Finally, Devon and Mat were always on the ball in the office and this saved me more time and hassle. For example, when Devon fixed my appointment with a bank so I could open an account. I have now moved in, I am very happy with my place and I am all set up and ready to start my new job. I would highly recommend LR!
