If you’re right in the middle of your relocation to London and are busy viewing properties with your relocation agents, opening bank accounts and learning how to decipher what you thought was English, you need to take a break.

It’s Cocktail Week in London and nothing will help ease the pressure of your international relocation to London like a silky smooth cocktail, or two, or three…

London Cocktail Week: Your perfect midweek outing after relocation.

If you want to join in the fun and frivolity of London Cocktail week all you have to do is purchase a wristband from the website which will get you into all bars that are participating in Cocktail Week as well as into the Cocktail Tours which will take you on a wild ride through the city each night. It’s on until the 16th of October 2011 and you’ll have the chance to try signature cocktails at different venues for extremely low prices. £4 per drink is unheard of in here where cocktails sell for upwards of £12 on a normal night.

There are over 200 bars participating in Cocktail Week but if you’re new to the city after moving to London, then the best idea is to get onto a Cocktail Tour. The tours have been arranged by area so you probably won’t have to travel far to hop on the cocktail bus and start making friends, trying our new cocktails and getting a sightseeing trip thrown in for free. All you need is your wristband, and you’re good to go.

Tonight the Shoreditch Tour will take you on a tour of central bars with buses running every 15 minutes from 6pm to midnight. Tomorrow night, sees the first Notting Hill Cocktail tour. If you’re in the area of the All Star lanes (bowling alley) on Queensway, and you see the cocktail bus approaching then just hop on and enjoy and evening out for very little.

The weekend sees a number of featured events including a master class in mixing cocktails, several lectures on the art of cocktails and different types of cocktails as well as special tastings and parties.

Your wristband will only cost you £10 and you’re covered for the entire week. If you’re settling into life in the big city after your relocation, after an apple Martini it’ll all look so much sweeter.
