If you’re moving to London this year, you’ll soon learn that this city is the hub of UK media. An opportunity has just come my way for American expats living to apply to become audience members of an ABC television series that will be airing in the States. All nationalities are welcome, of course, but the producers are interested in Americans specifically because the program will be geared toward an American audience.
Here’s a link to the flyer (pdf format): Trust Us With Your Life
If you have any issues downloading that document, here’s some of the relevant information:
“Hosted by Fred Willard (Best in Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, Modern Family) and featuring regular performers such as Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie (Whose Line is it Anyway?) and Jonathan Mangum (Fast and Loose), Trust Us With Your Life is a brand new studio based improv show being made here in the UK for prime time transmission on the ABC Network in the USA.
The exciting new format sees celebrity guests reminiscing about key episodes in their life before brilliant improvisers who will act out the scenarios they have described.”
The series will be recorded at BBC Television Centre in London on 21, 22, 23, 29, 30 October. To request free tickets, please contact:

The longer you live here, the more you’ll realize how integral it is to the rest of the world in terms of entertainment and culture. You’ll discover many opportunities for participating in TV shows as an audience member, but this one in particular is a special way for Americans relocating here to connect with popular culture back home, too. I know I’m applying, and so should you if you’re making the international relocation in time for these late October dates.
