Immersed in the sea of people in Paddington Station I forget all about the last tedious 12 hours I have spent traveling. The energy and architecture remind me of Grand Central Station in New York City. However, Paddington is by far more impressive.
While waiting in the cab line I hear a multitude of languages, a testament to the consistent diversity. Being a foreigner, I find comfort in the non-English tongues fluttering around me. In the cab ride I pass art galleries, boutiques and restaurants nestled in an almost surreal arraignment. The taxi ride ensures the promise of many adventures. Relocating to London, although for a mere six weeks, was a wise choice. I anxiously look forward to exploring one of the finest cities on the planet.
